Explanations - Please read the following carefully to avoid problems while using the listSigns:
| new entry (the scenery itself may not always be new) |
| updated information since the last version of this listing | obs | this file is obsoleted by a newer scenery version, the entry will be removed in the next version |
Place: Indicates where you can find the file. Each single letter or number represents a different site where the file is available for download. Keep this indicator in mind and look for the same one at Indicated Places
to find the link. A file may be available at serveral places. Place | Vers | Name | Req | Size | Date | Author | Description | Comp | FU | 8 | eur2upd | t | 372,977 |
08/05/99 | T. Jordaan | Toulouse and Nantes (France) and Luxemburg |
|
If you want to download the file listed in the table above (eur2upd.zip) see the indicators in the Place column. Each letter represents a different place. In this example there are two indicators: “F” and “U”. So the file should be available at two different sites. Keep these two letters in mind and go to Indicated Places - either by using the Place-link in the title of the column or by using the link on the top of each page.
At Indicated Places you will find every indicated homepage in alphabetical order. Now find the two letters “F” and “U”. This will lead you to Flightsim.com (F) and Compuflight (U), where you should be able to find the file (see instructions there). If there isn't any entry in this column the download place either is unknown to me or the scenery is only available at the author's own homepage. Check Author's Pages then (some even have an own indicator or there is a direct link from the table where the file is listed).Vers:
This indicates the FS version for which the file has been tested. A scenery may be stated valid for several versions. If not it still might work with different versions. Please read the doc and test yoursef. Almost all new sceneries are tested with FS98 only.
5 |
scenery has been tested for some of the FS5 versions. Most should also work with FSFW95 and FS98. | 6 |
scenery has been tested for FSFW95 (which is FS 6.0). It might also work with FS5.x Most sceneries should also work with FS98. | 8 | scenery has been tested for FS98 (which actually is FS 6.1). It might also work with previous versions, but you have to test yourself. |
0 | scenery has been tested for FS2000 (which is FS 7.0) | Bold | scenery is exclusive for FS98. It might work with previous versions, but it is not guaranteed: proceed at your own risk* | Red |
scenery is for use with FS98 and FS2000. It probably will not work with previous versions | Yellow | Entries highlighted in light yellow are sceneries which I think are well worth the download (in my personal opinion only!)
Please note that this selection is not complete at all! |
*If you are looking for sceneries especially for older FS versions, see the FS5- and FS6-sections at Flightsim.comReq (Requirements): Requirements of the file (see Basic Files)

Description:
Here you find further information about the scenery (as far as known). I cannot guarantee that information about compatibility issues is correct and/or complete! Information is only given as far as known to me. So if you are interested in a certain scenery better test yourself. Please tell me if you have different or new information. Base:
Indicates the base the scenery was designed on/for. The scenery will probably not work without the base scenery, but sometimes it does (tell me about new information please). If there are several base sceneries mentioned you should only need one of them. See the shortcuts listed in the table below. Comp (compatible):
There should be no problem to use the scenery together with the sceneries mentioned here. See the shortcuts listed in the table below. Confl (conflict): Problems will occur (e.g. graphical errors, double runways) if you use this scenery together with the sceneries mentioned here. See the shortcuts listed in the table below. Shortcuts I have introduced the following shortcuts for explaining relationships with other (mainly commercial) sceneries:
